Comeca Camp and Retreat Center is a Christian summer camp and retreat center near Cozad in central Nebraska, with overnight programs for children, pre-teens, and teens (plus young adults, adults, and families). The campus features canoeing, a zipline, a rock wall, an indoor swimming pool, hiking trails, and a full indoor gymnasium, with special-emphasis weeks in areas such as leadership, sports, music, drama, arts and crafts, and outdoor education. Weekly youth sessions run around $375 with meals and most activities included.

This is definitely way more than your regular camping experience, this is the space where people find healing and restoration, a place where old dreams find a new heartbeat and lost hopes find ability to breathe again. If you are a believer, you’d know the land is anointed from the first step your feet land on the ground. As far as staff - very organised, noticeably trained counsellors, their kitchen staff deserves a separate paragraph of endless compliments, camp directors are truly the right people in the right place at the right time. I am excited to see where God takes camp Comeca in the years to come! One more thing: breathtaking view of the lake Kozad, come for the view and experience the difference that camp offers! Must go!

We made amazing connections, new friends, enjoyed our time worshiping, playing laser tag, singing, eating yummy food, zip-lining, canoeing, swimming. It's a gorgeous and friendly property in the middle of unassuming Nebraska, green and full of adventure. I cherish my memories of Comeca and would recommend anyone to go.
