Powered by GoogleI go there for the through the bible class everyone there is supper sweet. Am greatfull that we have a place to go
Its funny how life has turned full circle. As a kid I spent alot of time here with Ms. Betty, Perry, and a bunch of my childhood friends. Its been a safehaven for me and remains a place where I can simply be.
Beautiful facility & the front desk service was great. However, really disappointed in the pool. The Columbus YMCA App stated it was open swim tonight. But the lifeguard said it wasn’t, even with proof! The Front Desk lady even told her that many of people keep coming trying to swim for open swim but the lifeguard was hell bent on her own schedule. PLEASE fix the app if it’s not open swim. Many of disappointed families. There was literally ONE person lap swimming. Could have shared the pool.
Beware if you are visiting/using nationwide membership: the hours listed on Google (you know, the search engine everyone uses) are not accurate. Even though they have staff sitting at the desk after 6am, they will not let you in even with your ID, a keychain barcode and a mobile app showing you're a member from out-of-state until 7:45am - when most people have to work. Poor management and policies with none of the southern charm one would expect from a smaller town.
Warm and helpful staff. While busy it does have enough equipment that you rarely have to wait. Clean facility but members could do better at wiping down after use of equipment. Yes, I'm one of those who needs to do better. Some equipment needs tightening to stop annoying noises.
