Colorado Adventure Point is a 20,000-square-foot Scouting and adventure-education facility in Lakewood, opened in 2015, with a two-story rock-climbing wall, archery and air-rifle ranges, and technology, culinary and sustainability labs. Its summer STEAM and Technology Camps serve ages 6-12 from early June through mid-August, running 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Classic STEAM weeks cover chemistry, biology, structural engineering and physics through hands-on experiments and challenges, while Enger Technology weeks focus on coding, robotics and digital projects. The center also runs merit badge classes, adventure overnights, field trips and holiday break camps.
