I signed my son up for Code Ninjas Draper on March 15th. He had been teaching himself and became quite good but felt he needed instruction to take him to the next level. He enjoyed the trial class but then upon signing up they put him on a track that was very beneath him and they wouldn't allow him to move forward to the "belt" that was more appropriate for his skill level. Instead they said he had to complete each course to move forward which meant I would be paying for 6 or more months for classes he would be bored with and wouldn't learn anything new. So after two weeks he stopped going and I called to cancel. They acknowledged the cancellation over the phone but said that because the contract states cancellations take effect 30 days after the request that I would be billed again. They have a zero exception policy on that-- how convenient. The next month I was billed again. At this point I've now paid roughly $550 for two weeks of something where my son learned nothing. May 15th rolled around. And I was billed AGAIN. I called and asked why I was billed and they said they have no record of me ever canceling. Here's the funny part-- the email they sent me when I signed up says that it is not monitored when I tried to email it to cancel, and there is no option to cancel or remove my form of payment through their app. So, they left me with the only option in which there is no record, a phone call. And after all that June 15 comes and I am billed again. I have now paid $1,100 for two weeks of a class where my son learned nothing. While this may be good for some, my experience has been anything but good. I don't know what their intentions are but it sounds like this type of thing is part of their business model. Why would they make it so hard to cancel? Why have the 30-day policy if not to just get another payment? Why make it prohibitively difficult to cancel or to have a record of cancellation? Tread lightly with Code Ninjas Draper.

The team is great and the programs are fun! My son is pretty severe ADHD and task avoidant, but everyone he worked with was so patient and kind and made sure to help him find things to do that would engage him. Often times he would say he doesn’t want to go but when I would pick him up he would brighten up about the project he was working on or the problem he finally solved. I love these guys and would recommend them! It is easy to sign up for classes and mentorship hours, I really appreciate it! Thank you for all you do!

My daughter had her first class here and she cannot stop talking about it. She is so excited to be able to learn coding and build her own video games! Everyone here is super nice and friendly and they have all made her feel welcome and comfortable!

We are so happy that we joined Code Ninjas Draper! We can’t say enough good things about this place. Our daughter has so much fun creating games while learning to code. The curriculum hits a sweet spot of being challenging, fun, engaging and encouraging. In 2 to 3 years our daughter will be able to create her very own app and publish it on the App Store! The owners are amazing as well. They are kind, thoughtful, genuine, positive, and professional. Every student I’ve observed here loves their experience. I’m honestly so jealous that Code Ninjas isn’t available for adults (yet).

My daughter couldn't wait for a next lesson. Instructions easy to understand, she created a cartoon first time she sat at the computer. Very excited, can't wait to come back
