Code Ninjas is a national coding franchise offering summer tech camps for kids ages 5 to 14. Younger kids (5-7) learn through a visual, no-reading curriculum, while ages 8-14 build their own video games and robots, with weekly themes like Minecraft, Roblox, Scratch, LEGO robotics and 3D design. This is the Amelia Island (Fernandina Beach) location.
The practical details
We list only what the camp itself publishes, and programs change — dates, prices, ages and availability can all move after we check. Confirm the details on the camp’s own website and contact Code Ninjas Amelia Island directly before you register or pay. Last checked August 2026.

Powered by GoogleMy kids enjoy Minecraft & computer/tablet games. They attended the Minecraft 3 day camp and it was just okay. The first day, they seemed engaged, enjoyed it. The second and third days, things seemed to get repetitive and they said they were a little bored. Perhaps it was the theme or lack of engagement or socialization. As a parent, we felt like we didn't know what we paid for- most camps, they have something to bring home, show on the last day, or a photograph from the camp of what they did and this one had nothing like that. I'm glad the community has this for kids, but it wasn't a good fit/use of funds for my boys.
So happy to have something educational and so fun in our area. My son loves code ninjas and all the sensei!
Great teachers and great environment
My kids love coming to Code Jr every week! They learn something new, get to be around new friends and the teachers are awesome in working with them. Alin the owner is very kind and knowledge. Grateful to have this here on the island!!
