Biggest and best for a reason. From Rec to travel, the work done to provide a quality experience for your child is second to none.

Do not sign your kids up to play for this league. I would put 0 stars if I could. This league is here for money and "the good 'ol boys". The referees are terrible and more than half are only 13 years old with no adult ref teaching them correct calling. Select coaching staff are poor sports that teach their team to act the same way as them. That’s how you end up with unnecessary aggression, and conflicts. And how 2 children on my team wound up with a black eye (other team player leapt at him and elbowed him right in the eye!) and an almost broken ankle due to incorrect and illegal slide tackling from behind (if you can even call it that!) Even the parents on the sidelines are awful humans. We had parents of the other team screaming, "tackle him! Take him out! Push them!" Parents reported this to the director at the concession stand, someone came over to intervene but those parents continued to yell and curse and take videos of our team in harassing ways.....Coast FA did nothing at all. The referees are all formally "academy kids," so if you play an academy team do not expect a fair game called, all one sided and in their favor. Trip in the box? No call! Aside from the integrity of the game, all of this puts the players in danger of being physically and mentally hurt. Because of the terrible officiating and lack of following the rule book children get injured. It’s horrible to watch on the sidelines as a parent or volunteer coach. I do not recommend Coast FA to ANYONE. Also pulled wool over our eyes with their "drafts," for players. Coaches are not truthful in their numbers so they wind up with really good kids even though they rated them a 2 and should be a 4 or 5. (Scale is 1 being unfamiliar with soccer and never playing before and 5 being a great player that understands the game and plays above their peers) When your rec game scores are 15-0, I'm pretty sure someone lied to get the "good kids," on their team. Your children are much better off playing for a league that prioritizes the safety of your kids instead of winning and learning to bully their peers. That league is not Coast FA.

Do not sign your children up to play for this league. I would put 0 stars if I could. This league is here for money and nothing more. The referees and select coaching staff are terrible, terrible people that ruin children’s experiences playing sports. Some coaches are poor sports that teach their team to act the same way as them. That’s how you end up with unnecessary aggression, children taunting other children, and conflicts. Even the parents on the sidelines are left unchecked far too often. When I played for this league years ago, I was audibly called a homophobic slur by a parent on the sideline- and as usual.. Coast FA did nothing at all. The referees are so lazy with their calls because this league will take absolutely anyone to be an official. Aside from the actual integrity of the game, this puts the players in danger. I have played for this league, and spectated- and it is because of the terrible officiating and lack of following the rule book that children get injured. It’s horrible to watch on the sidelines as a parent or other. I do not recommend that feeling to ANY PERSON, and I do not recommend Coast FA to ANYONE. Your children are much better off playing for a league that prioritizes the safety of players. That league is not Coast FA.
