Powered by GoogleMy children have attended this camp for several years, and overall they genuinely enjoy their experience. The staff are generally friendly, caring, and good with the children, which is one of the reasons I have continued bringing my kids back year after year. As someone who earned my bachelor's degree while relying on this program, I have appreciated having a place where my children felt safe and engaged. However, I feel it is important for other parents to know that my experience with policy enforcement has been inconsistent. Different staff members seem to handle situations differently, and there does not appear to be much discretion when it comes to certain fees and penalties. The camp closes at 6:00 p.m., and parents are charged a late fee if they arrive after closing. After multiple occurrences, those fees increase significantly. On the last day of school, I arrived at the camp right at 6:00 p.m., but the camp's clock showed 6:01. As a result, I was charged a $60 late fee for being one minute late. To me, that felt extremely harsh, especially considering the circumstances. The staff member handling check-out that day was not someone I typically see, and the procedures seemed different than usual because a different entrance was being used. As a parent receiving subsidized childcare, unexpected fees like this create a significant financial burden. While I understand the need for policies and accountability, I was disappointed that there was no flexibility or consideration given for a one minute difference. The experience left me feeling frustrated and unheard. I still believe this is a good camp, and my children enjoy attending. However, I encourage parents to be aware of the camp's fee policies and the fact that enforcement may vary depending on which staff members are on duty. Consistency, communication, and reasonable discretion would go a long way toward improving the experience for families.
I've been going to c2c as a kid and it's an amazing environment, and it's really fun during the summer because you engage in several activities during the week, which can vary week to week from: magic mountain, hurricane harbor, pool day, and a week of camping at emma wood state beach which is my favorite overall. The staff are amazing and are really good at spreading the word of god.
Love this camp! My son comes home everyday excited to share about his day. The councilors are also so caring and make sure all the kids feel warm and welcome. You won’t go wrong picking this camp for your kiddo.
Such a great place for your kiddos to go!! My daughter attended Pacific Camps from Preschool to Third Grade! She always had great experiences and enjoyed all activities from homework room to crafts to field trips to the beach and bowling to worship time. I always felt she was safe and well looked after. I highly recommend!!
First off, Let me say THANK YOU! for the summer time my son Max, was able to spend at Pacific camps. He was absolutely happy there everyday and I wanted to tell you how comfortable he was which made me very happy. Finding a place that he enjoyed was next to impossible and PC has proven to be a class act and a really positive experience for us all. I would tell any parent looking for quality care and attention to go no where else. The staff is warm and friendly and the directors both Bud and Ed Harley are just genuine and kind. Loved it!
