Gross the pool is dirty filled with leaves and bugs ...my lil girl had a bug in her hair. She mentioned she ate a bug 🪲 🐛. I took the photo as proof when I was heading out as soon as my lil girl told me she ate a bug now I couldn't believe it. Until I saw the water conditions. Now instead of going home I'm at the Drs office hoping she doesn't get sick. What kind of bug god knows. The restroom has plumbing issues lots of over filled water it smells horrible.... absolutely disgusting there's a clear disregard for sanitation. Before it was awesome but now it's disgusting and disappointing.. I dropped her off she went to class and I went to the baby and me class with my husband. The staff got upset at a parent for sitting on the floor near her child's class. I was by the baby and me class and saw the whole thing. Shecame to sit near us and mentioned they had said she couldn't sit over there ...we seen other parents sit at that area and they had no issues with that. Clearly it's a manager issue. She was nice and was doing her homework for school. Hopefully tomorrow the pool will be at least decent enough for children to swim. Do better Edinburg! I hope my child doesn't get sick cuz of your lack of sanitation.

This is my first time coming to Pirates Cove. My kids were super excited to come here. I arrived at bout 1:15 pm. It wasn't that full. I mean there were people but not a lot.

The building is wheelchair accessible, along with the doors. The snack bar seems well equipped, but the employees seem a bit...out of it. Its helpful to take cash for the many times the card reader goes down. The bleachers don't seem well thought out, nor do the markings on the court. There is no walking space between the court & the bleachers. The separators between courts are curtain-like, unattended minors are constantly running across the court to get out, along with their parents. Be prepared to take a ball to the face, regardless of where you sit. It's best not to sit your young children at the bottom bleachers.
