Circus Juventas is a Saint Paul youth circus arts school - the largest in the country - offering summer camps for ages 7-15 (campers must have completed first grade) plus Teen Adventure Camps for ages 13-18. Five-day camps teach aerial skills (silks, trapeze), acrobatics, balance, juggling, and theater in a non-competitive setting; performance camps end with a show.

★★★★★Nick GrzechowiakI’ve lived in the Twin Cities for 30 years and just now discovered Circus Juventas. Frankly, I’m embarrassed. A colleague mentioned it and I assumed it was some small neighborhood show… turns out it’s one of the best-kept (yet apparently very well-attended) secrets in town. Took my daughter for a father/daughter night out. Neither of us knew what to expect. By the end, we were both sitting slack-jawed in amazement. I actually had to remind myself to close my mouth so I didn’t look like I was part of the show. It’s not easy to find something that impresses both a grown man with picky taste and a teen who’s grown up with YouTube and streaming everything. But this did it. In spades. Pro Tip: Get seats in Row C or higher—Rows A and B don’t have any elevation, and trust me, you’ll want an unobstructed view of all the mid-air wizardry. Oh, and these are teenagers performing? Excuse me while I go rethink what I was doing with my time at that age. Brilliant. Just go.

I had expected it to be really good and I was excited to go see it, but this blew my socks off ❤️ these are amazing athletes, and performers of so many different skills. From the moment that I walked onto the property I felt an energy that was so awesome. Some of the students were greeting the guests as we walked up to the entrance. The yard was amazing and had an ice cream vendor out front With some tables and chairs to enjoy the beauty outside before walking into the incredible beauty inside the circus tent. When I was in my early '60s I tried my skill at the trapeze 🤣🤣🤣 Even though I was very secure and was told to let go numerous times, I just hung onto that bar for dear life thinking I was going to splat all over 🤣 When I could no longer hold on to the bar, I very slowly let go (crying like a baby while laughing uncontrollably) and was gently and very slowly lowered meticulously and carefully onto the net that would have prevented me from splatting all over in front of everyone🤣 So from personal experience, a total of 3 minutes, I have great appreciation for every student and coach at Circus Juventas ❤️

They did gymnastics, tumbling, cheerlead builds, trapeze, high wire, contortion, and more! More! Everything was narrated by students using the theme of fairy tales. It was so well organized and delightful to watch! What a great asset to the St. Paul community!

Sets were great, costumes, storylines all amazing but the show stopper is the unbelievable talent and athleticism of these kids! They were high flying, acrobatic, and fearless! Our show lasted about 3 hours, including 25 minute intermission, not sure if that is standard length of each performance or not, they also sold snacks, drinks and alcohol. Highly recommend seeing them perform! Simply loved it ❤️ Great job by instructors, staff and students!
