It's a beautiful place. It needs some upgrades on the rooms and our a.c unit didn't work and we also had water problems last time we went.
I’ve participated in many activities at this camp and retreat center. Among many things, I’ve participated in youth camps, retreats, and other events. The location is, by no means, scenic. HOWEVER, the people who work here are incredibly skilled at serving those who enter. The facilities they have are well maintained. There’s hot water, flowing toilets, and heating/cooling that works great. One could not ask for more. The food is great. They have various options and they all taste great. When my pickiest eaters were unwilling to eat what was served, they had cereal to eat, and a salad bar to eat from. Ultimately, all that matters little if the staff is only doing a “job”. I’ve felt valued, listened to, and cared for while I’ve been there. No problem was too much to handle. No person was too small to matter. Everyone working there is focused on creating environments that allow for groups to thrive. I cannot recommend Circle 6 enough.
This is a great place to have a retreat. Staff is very nice. Great bunk facilities and rooms and pretty good food. A nice Chapel and a large outdoor area for activities games or whatever. A nice setting 6 miles north of Stanton Texas.
I have had many rewarding and learning experiences at the Circle 6. It was at the Circle 6 that Jesus grabbed me and changed my life forever. I have been able to share this with others and watch others lives changed. The Holy Spirit is very strong and at work at the Circle 6. It does amazing things for the youth that attend and gives them spiritual direction and since of purpose. I have been blessed to witness 100s of adults at retreats that the world had driven to tears. They left with tears, but it was because they found the joy that only the Holy Spirit can bring. Thank you Jesus for this place and the staff.
