The Cibola Arts Council, a nonprofit founded in 1977 in Grants, operates the Double Six Gallery and offers mini summer art camps for kids ages 7–15. Camp courses have included Kawaii to Kaiju, Surrealism, watercolor painting, fantasy creature design, portraits and figures, and oil painting, with tuition around $280–$320. The council also runs student exhibits, adult workshops, and performances.

This art gallery and historical museum cartors to local artist and the community. They offer "art camps" every other Saturday starting at 2pm which are a lot of fun
Amazing art. Friendly staff
A Gem! We visited CAC on a weekday afternoon in late June 2021. As soon as we parked our car, we were greeted by Shelton (a famed mid-distance runner) with warm southwestern hospitality which is rare these days, especially in the East Coast. He gave our family a tour of the art gallery as well as the quaint RT66 Vintage Museum and patiently answered all our questions. We purchased a few displayed art items; he even carefully wrapped them for us. Totally enjoyed our visit. Check their hours and don't miss this place if you are in the nearby El Malpais NP or in Albuquerque, NM.
