This is a fantastic place! The building itself is great, but the staff is what truly makes it special. They are incredibly gentle, caring, and supportive. I have three kids at this daycare; school age, advanced pre-k and my youngest has gone from infant to the toddler room. All the teachers have been amazing. Especially the infant and toddler teachers. They are well acquainted with my daughter and all the things she has going on. My older two are beyond happy with their teachers. I’ve seen their teachers practicing reading with them, teaching them fun origami and helping them learn to draw AMONG MANY OTHER GREAT THINGS! I cannot say enough amazing things about CLA.

We've had 2 children enrolled at CLA in LCTX throughout the last 9 years and continue to do so. Every teacher we've had, in all the classrooms, including the summer program, have been nothing but kind, respectful and caring for our children. The staff greets everyone once they walk in by name, they are always smiling and tend to anything you may need. I'm not sure how the teachers do this job, and I could not do it and have the patience to do what they do.

If you are looking for a place where your child will be loved and well cared for, this is it. My daughter is so excited to go to daycare every morning, which speaks volumes. The environment is so positive. Every teacher and staff member is friendly and always smiling. It’s such a relief to leave her in a place where you can tell the staff truly loves what they do!

I would not recommend this daycare. The building itself is beautiful and overall clean, but I do not feel the level of care and communication matched what many babies deserve. My daughter’s experience in the infant room was phenomenal, and I truly loved those teachers. They cared deeply for her and communicated as much as they could within the limited communication system the daycare already had in place. Putting her in the infant room was absolutely the right decision for our family. However, our experience changed significantly in the next room. Communication became very limited. We recently transitioned her fully to water after formula, and I became concerned when I repeatedly sent water that came home untouched. This eventually led to concerns about constipation. I brought several concerns to leadership, along with concerns about practices that went against state and clinical recommendations, and although i felt heard no meangingful changes happened and my advocating for my daughter became aversive for me due to their reactions. What concerned me most was leadership’s response to feedback. When I decided to withdraw my daughter, the only people who seemed genuinely concerned were her infant classroom teachers. No one from leadership meaningfully followed up, despite this being a sudden withdrawal after prior concerns had already been discussed. As someone who works in management, that was very telling to me. If you have a child who is too young to communicate what happens during the day, I would strongly encourage you to look at their state reports carefully and make your decision with that information in mind.
