Powered by GoogleMy daughter has been with Childcare Network on Kanis for 3 years now. The teachers and staff have been instrumental in my child's development which means a great deal to me because she is super shy. They were also very supportive of my choice to nurse my child as a baby. I would come during my lunch break to nurse my baby in a private room designated for nursing mothers which made it less stressful while transitioning back to work. I would recommend Childcare Network on Kanis if you're looking for more than just a daycare.
Childcare Network on Kanis has become part of my family. My daughter started with the school--yes I consider it a school-- when she was only 10 weeks old. She's my first and only child, so I was absolutely terrified to leave her with anyone, much less strangers. The teachers and staff have demonstrated that they LOVE my child and are truly excited to see her each morning. She loves all of staff right back. In fact, some of her first words were names of her teachers. And all of her teachers, past/present/substitute, greet her by name when she walks in the front door. She's now almost 2 and still loves going to school. There is no perfect daycare/school, but this place is perfect for us. No, they don't always have time to talk with me in the front office or answer my calls/emails right away-- because they are busy taking care of my child and all of the other children entrusted to them. Yes, teachers are sometimes tired and frustrated, like all of us, but they take the responsibility of caring for children to heart and put that responsibility first. From the director to the food prep staff, each person has shown us nothing but kindness. I highly recommend this location to friends.
Both of my kids have gone to this daycare and I have been very pleased. The teachers all care about your child and keep parents informed. My daughter attended for 3 years and my son is on his second year. Keema, the Director, always gets my questions answered quickly and/or addresses any concerns that I have. Everyone is friendly and pleasant. The facility is clean and organized. I would recommend and have to several others!
My 1 year old son started at Childcare Network #191 when I returned to work after 12 weeks of maternity leave. I couldn't have been happier with the transition back to work full time. The teachers in Rooms 1 and 2 are so amazing, they loved on my little one as he was their own. I felt he was in a safe and nurturing environment every day at drop off and pickup. The directors and staff are so pleasant and helpful, they listen to every concern and truly know every child that is under their care.
Childcare Network is not a daycare... it is a school! It is a wonderful engaging environment for my children to stay safe and feel loved while I am at work. I have been very pleased with the center and ALL staff members. I am an educator myself and I understand what it takes to run a classroom and each classroom at Childcare Network is fully equipped to engage children in learning each and every day. I have two children currently at the center; a three year old and a seven month old, and each and every day I can leave them and know that they are in GREAT care. My three year old is able to write her name, knows all her alphabet, and can count to 20 already, you don't see that being taught at a daycare everyday. I love that the staff is always professional and always great about communicating what my children are doing in their classrooms. The directors are wonderful and are always helpful whether it be allowing me to call on my lunch break to check in or answer any questions I may have. I am often asked what daycare does your child attend. My answer is always, "the school Childcare Network on Kanis, it's not like any daycare you have ever seen."
