The Chequamegon Theatre Association is a community theatre in Ashland (founded 1972) that runs a children's summer theatre camp in partnership with the Missoula Children's Theatre. Over one week, campers rehearse and produce an original script, culminating in a public performance. Sessions run Monday–Thursday 12:30pm–4:45pm at Ashland High School, with a Friday performance; the fee is $50 and scholarships are available.

They also have a week long theater camp with a production at the end. It costs 100$ but through fund-raising they pay half. If you have children I would reccomend having them participate for a week of fun! The theater itself is rather small but comfortable. If you have a day off I would reccomend checking it out!
