★LLIf I could give negative stars, I would. I prepaid for 20+ classes at Charlotte Tennis Academy, including Toddler Tennis for my child and Cardio Tennis for us parents. After the toddler class coach changed, the quality no longer met my expectations. My child spent only 5 minutes actually hitting balls out of a 1-hour session, with the rest of the time unstructured. When I raised concerns and asked to discontinue the remaining 7 classes, instead of addressing the issue professionally, the Academy’s written response was condescending and full of personal attacks. They called me a “layman with no experience” for questioning their teaching, labeled my child “the catalyst to disrupt class,” and even accused me of causing “the loss of over 8 clients due to your lack of effort” in Cardio Tennis. They also claimed that refunding unused classes was a mere “kind gesture,” which is completely absurd — I was simply asking for a refund for services not rendered. Despite promising to reimburse me the unused portion, the refund was never processed because my "disrespectful behavior". It is shocking that a business can treat paying clients this way. I truly cannot believe this place is still in business. Parents deserve structured classes, professionalism, and accountability — not excuses, broken promises, and patronizing responses.
