Channing Brown, a former Division 1 and professional player who went on to coach for the Arizona Diamondbacks, started his own baseball and softball academy in 2021, specializing in hitting and pitching training. The baseball and softball coaching programs focus on rotational power, speed and strength, exit velocity, bat control, and building toughness and confidence, working toward the five tool athlete: speed, power, hitting for average, fielding and arm strength. Channing Brown offers different types of services for baseball and softball players - hybrid in person, virtual one on one, and online course - and caters to all ages and genders. Private lessons are booked by appointment through the academy's online scheduling page.
