Plentry of parking at this conveniently located park on West Church street, between Prospect and Mattis. We enjoyed a using the wheelchair accessible picnic tables to eat our.food. the basketball courts and play ground equipment were closed for the COVId19 today, but we have used them in the past. It is really cool that handicapped can use the facilities

A wonderful accessible play ground for kids and adults of all abilities.

My son Jack first went here on a class outing. He's in a wheelchair, so even in accessible parks he often has little to do. Eisner Park has a swing he can actually use without getting out of his chair, along with ramps that allow him to access all of the climbing structure.

My son rehearses for Penguin Play at the Hays Center. CU Recreation has been very helpful to our theater group - children ages 10-21 who have disabilities are paired up with typically developing children as mentors to help them learn their lines, blocking, songs and are on stage with them during the performance of Mulan the weekend of Sept 15th at Urbana High School.
