The Challenger Learning Center, operated by Dayton Public Schools in Old North Dayton, Ohio, is a space-science education center offering simulated space missions and STEM labs for students from preschool through 8th grade. Its summer STEM camps have children explore space science, astronaut training, and engineering, culminating in a live simulated mission and an overnight stay; tiers include Young Astronaut Training (ages 8-9), Astronaut Training (ages 10-12), and Advanced Astronaut Training (ages 11-13) with robotics, rocketry, and SCUBA-based training.

I am a Girl Scout leader with 7th and 8th grade girls and the amazing staff at the center took 2 of our Robotics Badges and planned an entire session out for us and knocked it out of the park. They kept my girls engaged, focused, and ready to learn the entire time. They absolutely went above and beyond and ensured all girls had materials they needed. I loved the atmosphere and the one on one friendship feeling we received from all 3 staff members. Truly a top notch experience. We were at the center for a little over 5 hours and did badge work and an Escape Room that truly challenged the girls for every second they were in there. I cannot recommend this center enough.
