★★★★Robert SnowThe Rooster Day Festival is held here every year. They just celebrated their 97th anniversary and they are the oldest festival in Oklahoma. Everybody just gets together has a good time. It has different attractions for every age group. They have a beer tent and live bands in the center stage right in front of you. If you're younger they have plenty of rides to enjoy. For the older adults they have vendors inside the community center that you can shop and pick up local goods (jams/jelly) and all kinds of fruit flavors. Plus a whole plethora of other items. If you're looking for a Bells(old school) or a state fair this is definitely not for you. The food is excellent and the vendors have all different kinds of dishes. You can buy from footlong corn dogs to funnel cakes. It is now debit / credit card only starting this year because too many people were losing their money when they reach into their pockets. I would laugh but I've done it at the Tulsa State Fair myself 🤣 I would recommend Roosterfest to my family which I've taken several members before and to my friends. For security they have BA Police Department patrolling.
