Centennial Youth Baseball-Softball Association is a nonprofit volunteer league serving Centennial and surrounding cities including Aurora, Parker, Greenwood Village, Foxfield and Englewood. It runs a registration-based Cal Ripken season rather than a camp, with age divisions from 4 through 12: T-Ball for first-year players 6 and under mixes tee and coach pitch with no scores or standings, the Rookie division (ages 6-8) uses pitching machines and keeps scores, standings and tournaments, and the top division plays nearly full MLB rules on a 70-foot diamond with leadoffs.

We paid $700 dollars to play a set number of games and we finished only having played 12. No partial refund, or at least giving us the services we’re entitled to, which is the rest of the games. Do not play here, they will take your money, and cancel numerous games.

Amazing Organization! I have played on many teams in this league and am amazed at how much I improved. I had gone from not being able to hit a ball to being able to play the best baseball I knew I could. If you are looking for a great community and have a passion for baseball/softball, this is the perfect place to learn and grow with amazing teams and coaching staff!

We recently signed our son up for this league as well as my husband to coach a team as they were very short staffed. We had no information, the commissioner never even introduced himself and were very confused about the entire process as well as the safety and well-being of the kids playing. When we voiced our concerns he told us that youth sports might not be right for our family (we have been coaching and involved in kid sports for the last 4 year) and was condescending in the e-mails. He refused to give us our money back for the league except for 50% and said “we probably didn’t read the refund policy”. He has no care for the kids and hosts the draft of little kiddos at a bar where he states they drink a lot. Don’t ever sign up for this league, and we will be working with a lawyer to look into this league as to the safety of the players.

The worst league. Incompetent commissioner, horrible umps, don’t know the rules, make calls with clear bias for family members, commissioner just cusses out parents who ask him to get out the rule book when the umps makes up rules that benefited the commissioner’s sons team he also coached. Unreal. Pitching mounds are slippery fiberglass they refuse to fix despite repeated calls. Expensive league with trash mounds. We had to change into sneakers just to pitch off it. Competition is a joke. Mix of inexperienced teams and younger travel teams that get to pitch from closer than the age group of kids league is meant for, even though rules state if they can get over the plate without issue they should pitch from regular distance. Not that it mattered to my son who completely dominated this trash league for 3 years straight and gave up 4 hits in over 80 innings with 200 Ks over those 3 years and won the championship despite the ridiculous rules and clown biased umps. Worse yet, practices are almost nil. Save yourself a headache and find literally any other league but this one.

Very well run and organized. Uniforms look nice, fields are in good shape. We got to play lots of games and my kids improved a ton. Coaches are positive and encouraging and not too competitive. Focus on having fun and improving skills.
