It was a joy to interact with them! I was thrown off by only one thing. The lack of the fire pit be able to work. A real downer. The weather was cold and damp. It would have been a proper move on the parks part to make sure the pit was working. Other than that it was great, planning.on returning May!

Perfect place to reconnect with the Lord, fellowship with others, and recenter your spirit with the Almighty. The grounds are immaculately tended to, the Canadian geese are intimidating but aren't mean :) some ducks too! Flowers will he beautiful when they bloom (I visited in March). Love the remodel on the bathrooms and the beds are comfy and rustic. Great location for morning walks, strolls, and just love the views wherever you go. Look forward to going again with my church. Follow them on Facebook too! They put on other retreats you can attend for anyone and you can meet other followers in Christ. I personally look forward to attending one in the future. This was my first visit and was blown away! The benches everywhere swings, etc are perfect for grabbing a spot to dive into the Word, a good book, or just enjoy the beauty of this secluded spot of beauty the Lord has provided.
