Campers attend one- or two-week sessions grouped by grade and experience, with about five hours a day of small- and large-group instruction in orchestra, jazz ensemble, or concert band, alongside traditional outdoor camp life. It serves youth of a broad range of backgrounds and abilities.

For a summer camp for teens - this is a beautiful spot in the woods not far from SF. For adults seeking a group camp rental - not an ideal food setup. You can’t bring your own caterer and the cafeteria food is… high school cafeteria quality. Lots of carbs and minimal protein. Luckily the location is 20-30 min from restaurants in Guerneville, so if you don’t like what they serve and didn’t bring a cooler to pack your own food, you aren’t too far from better food. Additionally, because the camp primarily serves a teenage audience, they have strict rules on when you can eat, when you can get seconds, and other rules that make sense for creating structure for kids but feel absurdly restrictive for adults used to making their own food and eating whenever you want. So, if you choose to book this as a group camp site for a retreat, be aware of these restrictions when you consider the (cheap) price.
