Been a member here for over 3 years now and it is unbearably hot in there every summer, the AC just happens to be out, wonder where my money is going. Too many of the employees ignore you as you walk in, plus their knowledge on YMCA programs is not great. Equipment is old, but can get the job done. Sometimes wonder if I should travel to Monett.

The place is clean, equipment is good, but everytime a lady named Cheyenne works, they open 10 to 15 minutes late, no coffe gets made and she sits there reading a books, and never greets the guests. Employees will make or break a business!

Last year my son was 7 and is a bit small for his age. He passed the swim test multiple times, but one time the manager declined him getting his wrist band because he "looks small", even though he passed the test. We didn't go back and let it go. This year I decided to buy family pass and went to the aquatic center. My son passed the swim test, went down the slide multiple times until a new guard came on and refused him because he's not 48 inches tall. His growth chart as of a month ago put him at 47 1/2 inches according to his pediatric rhuemotologist. I was telling my husband the new policy when another guard overheard us and started being rude and said don't like it? Go tell the manager. I asked him why did you feel the need to even say that, we weren't talking to you. He told me you're being rude. I proceeded to walk to get a manager when I tyrned around and 2 guards were laughing and pointing at me saying loudly we were going to get kicked out . The manager apologized, approached the guard and they were all laughing. We decided to just leave. I'm super upset. We paid in advance a year membership. if i could give this no stars, I would.

Loved going there since they opened this year. We have been loyal customers. Today my grand daughter is 4 inches to short to ride the 2 water slides she has been riding all month. She is in tears. We will now save 14 dollars a day from not going to this park anymore.
