Cascades Camp & Conference Center is a Christian camping ministry on nearly 1,000 acres of forest near Yelm, about 25 miles east of Olympia with views of Mt. Rainier. It offers multiple overnight summer camps each week by age, such as the train-themed Brightwood Station for elementary campers, Camp Timber Rock for middle schoolers and Sunrise Ranch for a range of ages. Faith-based, with a lakefront setting, operating since 1989.

Out of all the camps I've ever been to, this one is no doubt the best. There are also free pony rides, and the zipline, train station, and archery were highlights as well. I couldn't see any litter or any trash on the ground throughout my family's stay. It's amazing how the whole area is so clean. It's also dog friendly, as well as being helpful to people in wheelchairs. We had a wonderful stay, 10/10!
★★★★★Jared BayleyHad a wonderful time at this camp for the Murdock Foundation’s Vision & Call Retreat. I was blown away by the scenery, food, accommodations, and everything else! We could see the lake from the room we were staying in, and it was incredible. There was fog that drifted above the lake in the morning, which was beautiful. The staff here were really friendly and the food was some of the best camp food I’ve ever had. Going to this remote place immersed in the beauty of God’s creation really helped me connect with God. They have a really great fireside spot with benches, overlooking the lake. It is a little bit off the trail but the remoteness helps it feel very serene. Canoeing on the lake was also a blast, you could see different parts of the camp and see the great beauty surrounding the lake. This camp truly is a beautiful place and I’m so thankful for the opportunity to have visited.
★★★★★Nicole CaldwellLoved this campground! Our church reserved the Liberty Ridge Campground. It has power and water posts at every tent+car site and plenty of space for both. The lodge was really comfy and the bathrooms nice for cleaning up after a night sleeping in a tent. The view from the lodge porch is amazing! We didn't use the waterslide much although it was available to us because it wasn't as fun-looking as the blob, kayaks, canoes, and water obstacle course!! What a lovely time and I hope we go back next summer.
