This is a well organized recreational sports group with a wide variety of offerings for athletes!! The facilities are beautiful and well maintained. It brings the community together and we are very grateful for the positive impact CDC makes. And thanks to all the volunteers and coaches!!

This is an horrible organization. I was a soccer coach there and I have been a coach for many years. Lots of trash talking including racial slurs. my Hispanic son and one of my players were called the N word and nobody cared in the organization when I reported it. Zero communication from the staff. Arrogant attitude from the staff and some of the coaches. During the training the head of refereeing did not even know the real rule of offside. Please look at their finances online, their President makes 200k a year. Profits around 500k and they are registered as non profit but rely mostly on volunteers.

I am overall disappointed with Carmel Dad's Club in multiple sports. Softball they had an umpire shortage which affected many games and was unfair to the players. Last year many only had one umpire yet they were suppose to have two. Any calls went seen so to not enough help. Then they ask you volunteer for concessions but don't tell you that's your child's game they aren't open. So they want you to come in on other sports games to work. That was not stated in the sign up. When I contacted the lady in charge of concessions she was not only rude but sarcastic. There is no need for that. Also , I don't get emails on when things should be signed up for I was one day late sign up for volleyball for my other daughter and it was an extra fee. I feel like that's a little ridiculous as much as we pay to be in Carmel dad's sports late fees are not necessary. Also, for the older kids, they're all no late fees. They just punish the parents of the children. If there was any other option in Carmel, I would be out of Carmel so many of these reasons. Very disappointing Carmel Dad's Club.

Have been in CDC for several years and overall it is your average rec organization. Some sports are done very well and other could use some work. Soccer was a mess this year with poor communication, poor scheduling and bad process of composing teams. Overall coaches do a good job and care about the kids. For the most part parents behave but like all situations there are some you wish were not there. Overall the refs do a good job given the task they have to do. I have watched over 100 games and I can honestly say only once have I seen a completely incompetent ref in a soccer game. They had absolutely no business refereeing youth sports. That is one bad apple in a group that is good. In my opinion a ref is there just a much to teach at youth levels but this guy clearly enjoyed the power he thought he had. He was an very arrogant high school or college age kid and hope to never see again. If you want to a youth sport organization to participate in, it is fine and not unlike and other rec organizations in this country. There will be times it is great and other times frustrating. Just do your best to make sure kids enjoy. I encourage people to get involved if they want to help make organization better.

The new field house is great but plan ahead for traffic whenever field house and soccer fields are both active. Traffic was backed up all way to Gray today took us about 15 min.
