The instructor used step by step instructions and made sure everyone was caught up and at the same time explained why we use each technique. So much so that I learned a few things watching without actually participating. I had a 5, 8 and 10 year old and all three were engaged the whole time. He also provided markers, crayons, paint, or colored pencils to finish off the drawings!! My 10 year old felt like it was the BEST thing she had ever drawn! Highly recommend
