We have had an amazing experience with this program. Our 8 year old has had great instructors and although they are high schoolers teaching him, they each have a different style; which has actually helped him a lot. He looks forward to his classes and we have only once found the private swim lesson classes to be full before we could register; however, we were about 3 days in to registration when that happened. The group lessons we have not yet gotten to register him because those do fill up very quickly. We are hoping to get him in those soon. We have found communication to be great, it takes a little time for their response, but they always answer. They have been very helpful for our son.
Learn to swim is not great. There is little consistency in the teachers/expectations and the communication is not great. Registration also fills up within literal seconds, so you have to be quick about it and there’s no guarantee your child will get in month to month- which in turn contributes to the total lack of consistency. We’ve even arrived to a locked door/changed location with no notification in the past.
I put my 6 year old in the Child Learn to Swim Lessons. Did this for a few months. The registration process is horrible. If you take 2 minutes to fill out the registration form you'll lose your chance to register because all available spots will be filled. Contacted Jalene McClary to see if my son could get a spot. Did not receive a call back at all. The swim coaches for the children are highschool kids and every swim lessons was a different instructor. The instructors didn't teach the children basic pool safety. I am very disappointed with their service.
Our kids (10 & 13) have been swimming with CCA for a year. It has been an amazing experience. We started with the Learn To Swim program for our son and he quickly progressed to the club with the encouragement of his coach. The coaches each have different styles and personalities and are great at reading what works best for your child. They truly care about the development of your child through their swimming journey. It is a great group of kids and families and we have been very happy with the club. It's become a part of our family. We would highly recommend them.
