Powered by GoogleMy husband and daughter had warmer days and would've appreciated a/c in the cabin. But the weather turned cool when my son and I arrived to join them it was a great stay. Kitchen was stocked well with dish soap and nice pots/pans, dishes and glassware, coffee maker and even filters. Highly recommend the nearby ski lift for beautiful views! Especially recommend getting off the lift at the top to walk around and check out the hang gliding take off area (off to the right then on the left)!!!!
Such a beautiful area, I recommend the Blackwater River trail for those who really want to experience the scenery. The resort itself was great!
We went in May, stayed at the campground and really enjoyed it. Nice big spots in the trees and some in the open. There is a store nearby. Wifi wasn't great though. Clean bath house, laundry and playground on site. Lots of wildlife to see. The lodge has a several options for food, game room and pool. The chair lift was a fun ride with a nice viewing area at the top.
Lots of fun!!! We rented cabins but the main lodge looks awesome and has an indoor pool. We tried skiing for the first time and we had a great time. Skiing, roasting marshmallows in the cabin, dinner at the lodge all were great experiences.....
Our room had mold hidden by a tall lamp. When checking out I told the front desk who said that’s unacceptable but didn’t give us any discount. The TV didn’t have the whole list of TV channels it said it had. The dinner buffet for $35 and was dry the two nights we tried it. Breakfast buffet was way better! The beds were very springy like you could feel the springs in your back. The beds were so outdated and not nice at all. Our toilet ran and ran we had to keep putting our hands in the back of the toilet water to fix the tank mechanics inside the toilet. Overall was very disappointed of our Resort experience. Was expecting a real nice place and room.
