I LOVE Camp YI!! It is so fun, you forget about your electronics. All of the staff members treat you as if you were their child. The meals are amazing, hot, and nutritious. Everyone makes sure you are included, have fun, and safe all at the same time. I look forward to going every single year. 10/10 would recommend.

I wish that my experience at this camp was even remotely close to all other’s reviews. A few years back when I went to Camp YI I was younger, but old enough to know that I didn’t like what I saw. Camp counselors are young and fun but talk about other campers And how they go skinny dipping at night when they think the kids aren’t listening. But we are... obviously not all were like this but it just takes one to ruin an experience. Unfortunately my parents also had a very unpleasant experience with the owner of the camp. I think her name was Kim. It was very upsetting for me to see how my parents were treated and it’s a shame how everything played out. I really wanted to love this place too.

I have been a camper at Camp YI for 3 years, This year, I am going for, all together, 3 weeks. It is the best place in the entire world. The interactions you get there is like none anywhere else. The director is amazing and so nice, and the counselors/staff are even better! I look forward to going to this place every year. Last year, I wanted to cry because I got home and I couldn't go for another year. It made me a more considerate person and I plan on becoming a counselor next year. I am not going to be a counselor because I get paid, I want to be counselor because I get to be there all summer. You can come and it is almost a fresh start. They don't ask you about who you were before you came, they just invite you in and make you part of this great family that you will get so close with, you won't want to leave. The best times I have had haven't been the tubing, the zip-lining, or the swimming, my favorite memories are getting dressed up in really tacky costumes and going to the dance, or playing Ultimate Frisbee in the rain, and just sitting on the patio and having a normal conversation with the nicest and most amazing people in the world. I recommend you send every one of your children for as long as humanly possible, because it will teach them to enjoy the simpler and social things in life.

Youth Incorporated has been a big part of my family for over 60 years. My father was a camper, counselor, and served on the Board of Directors for many years. Both my younger sister and myself were campers and counselors. My first year as a camper was in 1984. I have been at Camp YI every year after that. I only wish that all of Middle Tennessee's youth could enjoy the unique experience that Camp YI has to offer. You cannot find a better camp experience for the price, anywhere. The staff is second to none. They are all highly trained at their respective activities, and they are great role models for our campers. I invite you to give your future camper the best. They will have memories and friendships that last a lifetime!
