Rustic 12-acre overnight camp in the pines about a mile from the Pacific in Cambria, run by the Coalinga-Huron Recreation & Park District. Each summer the district offers a few weeks of five-day (Mon-Fri) residential camp with nightly campfires, hikes, beach field trips, all-camp games, cabin skits, archery, arts and crafts and nature education; campers stay in 18 rustic cabins. Age-grouped programs; the facility is otherwise rentable. Operator MUNICIPAL.

This time of year it's chilly because it's not heated. Good sleeping bags are needed. Summer is beautiful. Has a nice kitchen in rec center with tables and benches.
