★★★★★Adriana BaltazarGorgeous campgrounds! Visited for the first time over the weekend for a Girl Scout Troop Leader training, and it was amazing! There are a few different campsites, and we got to stay in our tents in the meadow area. There was a small water crafts training going on as well in the lake. Directions also take you right to the parking lot which made the camp really easy to find!

However, I stayed in every campsite I believe from covered wagons, maple valley, oak grove trail riders.You name it I stayed. I did my tippy test on the lake amd marched up the hill to the swimming pool. I can still remember the way it smelled on the way to the mess hall. There was something about walking on that gravel road near the lake towards the mess hall You could hear the winds literally whispering off the mountainside, and that beautiful smell of wild grass growing. Whole that experience was nearly 45 years ago I can still here. All the girls and leaders singing "Dry Bones" in order to excuse your unit from the rest to go about your day. "Dry bones slipping down the canyon, some of them bones are mine." And then that song we had to sing backward, And the skit, everything's better with blue bonnet on it Im so incredibly thankful for those experiences, as they will always be some of my fondest For anyone reading this that remembers tree, spike, gonzo and the rest of the amazing leaders that shared their love of the outdoors and good times, You'll probably have that same feeling in your heart that I do. If you have a kiddo in your life, if it's wanting to attend campus spring wins, I strongly encourage it. Kym
