We hosted our wedding at Camp Wayfarer in September 2025, and we had the absolute best time. If you are looking to host a camp wedding, look no further! Camp Wayfarer is the perfect place! We had 120 guests stay overnight for the entire weekend, and we with enough room to accommodate many more. Camp Wayfarer is such a beautiful camp with really great facilities. There were so many fun activities for them throughout the weekend, including the lake and blob, pool, pickleball courts, and more. The Cottage was the perfect place for the bride and groom to have some additional space and privacy throughout the weekend - what a gorgeous house! The Lodge was our "Main Hub" throughout the weekend and the place where the immediate families of the bride and groom stayed with a bit more privacy. The Point was the original intended location for the Ceremony, though rain pushed us into the Dining Hall. The Dining Hall is gorgeous, with MORE than enough room for 120 guests and a huge dance floor. On top of that, the Camp Wayfarer Team and Family are amazing. MK Lewis, the Camp Director, and her husband Ben were so great to work with - super communicative and willing to help with all the questions throughout the planning process, even when camp was going on. MK also let us drop off some things earlier in the week, which was a huge help to us as we live 1,000+ miles away. We loved getting to meet some of the extended Camp Wayfarer Family during the weekend - including Nancy and Jim Bob. Clif was on-site during the weekend and was a big help, as well. We cannot recommend Camp Wayfarer enough for hosting events.

Absolutely thrilled to share our experience with this incredible summer camp! For four years now, our kids have eagerly awaited the summer just to return to this family-owned gem. One of the standout features is their no-technology policy, which we absolutely love. In an age where screens dominate so much of our lives, it’s refreshing to have a place where our kids can unplug and connect with nature and each other. The variety of outdoor activities is simply outstanding. From hiking and swimming to arts and crafts, every day is an adventure filled with fun and learning. The camp staff are exceptional—kind, energetic, and genuinely dedicated to creating a memorable experience for every child. It’s clear that they pour their hearts into this program, and it shows in every detail. Our kids come home at the end of 2.5 weeks with big smiles and exciting stories, brimming with new skills and confidence. This camp has not only provided them with a summer of fun but has also helped them grow in so many wonderful ways. We can’t say enough nice things about this fantastic summer camp. It’s become an invaluable part of our family’s summer tradition, and we look forward to many more years of incredible memories here!

Wow. Visited for a wedding. The most beautiful experience!! The cabins were lovely. They let us use the blob, pool, and basketball courts. The ampitheater for the ceremony could not have been more beautiful.
