Camp Wakanda is a Christian camp owned and operated by Allen Park Presbyterian Church, where camp life centers on Bible study, singing, swimming, organized sports, campfires and morning watch. It sits on 160 acres in northern Michigan around El Lake, which lies wholly within the camp and provides a sandy beach for swimming plus boating and fishing. Alongside youth camps the church runs family and fellowship-group camps and specialty sessions including Grandparents Camp and Shipmates Camp. The camp states it welcomes everyone regardless of church affiliation or financial background.
