Powered by GoogleThis is my 6yr old’s first summer camp experience and it has been nothing short of phenomenal. From the staff, to the activities I am thoroughly impressed and delighted. My son comes home every day happy and excited to share what he did in camp and can’t wait to go again the next day. If you’re looking for a positive alternative to them sitting inside on the phone, computer, or video games this is the camp for you! They get to be outdoors, make friends, play games, and have new experiences that will shape them for years to come. I am truly grateful for camp victory and appreciate every aspect.
I signed up my girls for 3rd season and what a sad experience. Not entertaining at all. my girls shared that counselors were always yelling at the little kids. The 15 year old was on the CITs and no one even give her instructions or guidance on what a counselor in training should do. Kids were under the gazebo watching the phones or sitting there. I recommend the camp to train counselors
Amazing Experience at Camp Victory! I’m from The Bahamas and I traveled all the way to Fort Lauderdale to attend Camp Victory this summer and it was so worth it! I spent two weeks at the camp, and it was one of the most fun and exciting experiences I’ve ever had. I loved being outdoors, trying new things, and just enjoying every moment. The camp counselors are all super nice and easy to talk to. If you ever had a problem or needed help, they were always there for you especially Peter! He is the funniest, most fun counselor ever, and he always made sure you were okay no matter what. No one ever felt left out, and that meant a lot. Even though I’m not from America, I got to experience so many cool outdoor games and activities. The campers were so friendly, and we had a blast going on field trips to the pool and a trampoline park with an arcade inside! We hiked, played dodgeball, ate s’mores, went to the playground, and enjoyed awesome water activities too. I also appreciated how the counselors always made sure we washed our hands before lunch and wore sunscreen to stay safe. I’m honestly so sad that I have to leave I wish I could stay longer! Camp Victory gave me memories I’ll never forget. 💛
I’ve never experienced having a child in this camp but I will say I experienced some of the counselors. They were excluding my autistic student and speaking about him with children at the summer camp (almost like gossiping) . He wasn’t trying to do anything other than play with them and ask what their name was. I felt the camp counselors set a bad example for all children at the park.
I had the pleasure of meeting Peter and Mary at the Best of Weston awards in early June and it was a true blessing in disguise! At the time, my 8 year old daughter was signed up for a different camp for the first week, but every time I dropped her off, I left with a knot in my stomach. As soon as the week was over, I immediately switched her to Camp Victory and it has been amazing. She wakes up excited to get to camp, made friends quickly, bonded with the counselors and is having so much fun! Peter and his staff are attentive, caring and are truly focused on making sure the campers have fun and are safe! Activities are well planned and the "field trips" are a perfect change of scenery for the campers! All in all, I highly recommend this camp and am so grateful to have found them!
