So happy that there is one Girl Scout available to young girls. It is so important to preserve this land. The experiences are invaluable!!
My daughter and I love this camp both as a day camp and for special programs. (We haven't stayed there overnight.) Facilities are clean, there is air-conditioning in the buildings, and there are lots of open spaces. There's a gaga pit, a teams course, and an archery range. Your Girl Scout troop can stay here by contacting the Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois.
Good girl scout camp. Fun trails with obstacles. Has a small park area for girls. They made their own obstacle/time course. Nice fire pits and the cabin we stayed at had air and heat making it more comfortable for sleeping at night. All beds were mattresses on the floor.
This is a beautiful Girl Scout camp that can also be rented for private use. The ranger is very accommodating and equipment is available for rental through the Girl Scout council. I have camped countless times with my troops here, as well as with family and friends, and have never been disappointed.
