Camp Tech Revolution
Private
Camp Tech Revolution, run by Lavner Education at the Katz JCC campus in Cherry Hill, is a weekly tech and STEM day camp where each camper picks one specialty course per week from a catalog of 60-plus options including robotics, coding, game design, Minecraft, Roblox, artificial intelligence, 3D printing, filmmaking, digital art and STEM & medicine. Sessions run weekly from late June through mid-August on the private JCC campus, combining indoor STEM classrooms with outdoor green space at recess; catered lunch is included. Instructors are selectively hired and groups are kept small for personalized attention.

Powered by GoogleThe overall audacity to charge over $700 for a camp that completely misleads parents left me feeling completely taken advantage of. To describe camp as centered around learning specific objectives about a game but then to lead said camp with an 18 year old who has “played the game before” but then “closes her eyes” for periods of time while they are responsible for other peoples children is disgraceful. The servers were down 3/5 days, 1/5 days they actually learned commands. Advertise this camp as it is, a babysitter will sometimes watch as kids play Minecraft. My son was sent home with a USB of the server with ZERO direction on how to apply or upload it to his home computer and that is the least they could have done. Utterly disappointed in this program taking advantage of parents.
Great people. Great place.
