Camp Sychar Holiness Association
Private
Camp Sychar is a nondenominational holiness camp meeting on grounds at 201 Sychar Road in Mount Vernon, Ohio, hosting families for a roughly 10-day gathering each summer since 1870 in the Wesleyan-Arminian holiness tradition. Alongside preaching and worship for all ages, it runs dedicated youth programming (Camp Sychar Youth). It is a faith-based camp-meeting experience rather than a conventional activity day camp.

Powered by GoogleHoliness Unto the Lord Camp Sychar has been a huge part of my family. My father-in-law has been attending and/or leading music since the 1960’s. My husband and I have been coming with our family for 20 years. I love the services, the worship (mostly old revival hymns), and the friendships developed over the years. But mostly I love this camp because the presence of the Lord is palpable here. He meets with all who are open to Him.
Entering camp you instantly know you are on Holy Ground. My soul is refreshed, it is well. My heart sings. Worldly pressure and heaviness vacates; His peace resides. ... Holiness preaching ... Lifetime friendships ... Family bonding ... The Tabernacle, the Well, the Bell, the Love ...
Camp is a Holiness Camp dedicated to youth, to help them prepare for their own experiences knowing GOD, our Creator. It has been with us over 140 years, and Worth attending. Camp occurs in July/August. Right now, leaves are coming down and we could use some volunteer labor. We have 13 Acres of leaves to rake.
A wonderful BEAUTIFUL relaxing Christian atmosphere for the whole family. My husband's family members have been coming here almost since they first started it 147 years ago!! What a wonderful way to spend a few days the whole 10 days or just a day or so
I have been coming to this camp since i was 2 years old. I am now 53. It is a family camp. Has programs that are designed for every age group. This is the camp that has changed my life and many others. In fact, the friends you make here, will be your friends for life. 10 days of your life the end of July/first of August is well worth your family's time.
