Camp Sunshine runs overnight summer camp for people ages 12-50 with mild to moderate cognitive impairments, pairing each camper one-to-one with a volunteer counselor. Sessions are hosted at partner facilities rather than a site the organization owns: Camp Blodgett on the Lake Michigan shore in West Olive and Camp Henry near Lake Kimball in Newaygo. Beyond summer it runs year-round day events such as bowling nights, beach hangouts, karaoke competitions and ball games, plus monthly virtual gatherings. Camp Sunshine has operated since 1983 and works from an office in Holland.
