Camp STIX (STIX Diabetes Programs) is a nonprofit summer camp for children and teens with diabetes across the Northwest, holding its one-week residential program for ages 9 to 16 at Bear Paw Camp near Newport. Campers receive on-site diabetes care from volunteer physicians, nurses and educators at nearly 1:1 ratios while enjoying traditional camp activities and peer support; siblings and friends may attend as space allows. It also runs Camp TWIGS, a Spokane day camp for ages 6 to 8, and serves families regardless of ability to pay.
