Hey! My name's Sophia Ramirez, I'm a Camper at Camp Daisy and Harry Stein. If you are in search for a camp to teach your child about positive Jewish living, experience new relationships and fun summer activities this is absolutely the right camp for you! And no, it doesn't consist of "boring" activities to benefit your aspects on the Jewish lifestyle. It consists of hands-on activities that teach you to be accepting of your religion, this process is called "Limud" and from a first hand experience it is a truly beautiful experience that anyone Jewish or not would love. The summer activities are just as amazing, no matter what activity you do, it is always fun, and teaches you to never give up and persist threw every situation you are faced with in life. As much as this is what camp is about, I cant emphasize how many new relationships you'll make. At camp you share one thing in common with (mostly) everyone... you're Jewish! And because of this everyone to you is accepting and understands what prayers and ceremonies you preform every week, which is hard especially in the area that I live.... to find a friend who understands that. I have no complaints... Camp Daisy and Harry Stein is truly my home, I always know I can rely on this place to make me feel comforted and loved.
