My daughter has attended Camp Stanislaus for three years. In 2014 and 2015 she attended camp as a day camper. I loved hearing her camp stories each evening when I picked her up. In 2016, she decided that she wanted to attend camp as a resident camper. I was reluctant at first, but it was one of the best decisions that I could have made. She had the most amazing time, made so many new friends, and created so many wonderful memories that she will cherish forever. After three years she still loves camp and wants to attend this year for the entire four week period! It's just been such a positive experience for us. Her favorite activities include water skiing, fishing, and marine science. I cannot say enough about Mr. Doescher and his staff. They continue to do a remarkable job with the campers year after year and my daughter never gets bored. We are looking forward to many more summers at Camp Stanislaus. I know that my daughter will never forget her time spent at camp, and for that, I am most grateful. Thank you Camp Stanislaus.

My daughter has attended Camp Stanislaus for the past three years. The first year she went for a week (her 1st "sleep away camp") and wanted to stay longer when we picked her up. We were thrilled that she wanted to stay longer! She then immediately began to tell us how she learned more about her religion and also about her new friends. Three years later she is still in contact with her friends (thanks to social media and attending camp again). She has made numerous friends from camp in the subsequent years. Since we live in the "heart of Atlanta," my daughter has become somewhat of a "city girl"...much to my chagrin! HA! When she gets back from camp, all we hear about is water skiing, archery (she received awards for both), fishing, sailing...on and on. Things you certainly don't do in Atlanta! She will be attending next summer, and the following years as well. As a parent who lived all over the U.S. (father military pilot) and attended numerous camps, I truly believe Camp Stanislaus is a hidden gem! It is more than worth the 6 hour drive from Atlanta. With their Facebook updates (outstanding job!) I feel that she is next door, and I am on top of what is going on. The staff is extremely helpful...from the day you drop your child off (I was impressed by their enthusiasm) to the pictures in Facebook, to the end of camp ceremony. As a parent, I am extremely lucky that I found Camp Stanislaus for my daughter. Camp Stanislaus has opened my daughter's horizons in a safe, religious and nurturing environment. What more can a parent ask?

Both of our sons have been attending Camp Stanislaus for the past seven years. We cannot begin to express the positive impact that Camp Stanislaus has had on them becoming independent young men. Even though we were living in the Northeast at the time, we jumped at the opportunity to continue a family tradition with Camp when our sons became old enough to attend. Camp Stanislaus has given them the opportunity to experience living outside the home, a taste of college life and really being themselves rather than just acting grown up/independent for a day trip or day camp. They have made what we believe will be lifelong friends. In the beginning, it gave our boys the opportunity to experience the culture of the Gulf Coast & New Orleans as a local rather than just being a tourist. As it turned out, Camp Stanislaus is also what helped us make the decision a few years later to relocate to the South so they could begin their high school educations with St. Stanislaus. We have always emphasized education and independence while raising our sons, and Camp Stanislaus is a perfect extension to our foundation. It is incredible to have a safe environment to be adventurous, inquisitive, and young. For our family it is an ideal reward for all of their hard work during the school year. Camp has also deepened our son’s religious foundations and provided a strong moral core. Brother Lee’s morning Character talks using magic tricks have an amazing way of continuing to draw in both old & new campers, while he imparts nuggets of wisdom that the campers will carry with them for life. It has given our sons a chance to see themselves as potential leaders by interacting with leaders near their peer level. Our oldest is now a counselor at Camp, like his cousins were in the past. Camp Stanislaus has been a blessing for our family and we are ever grateful. Sincerely, The Novak Family

Our children have enjoyed their camp adventures at Camp Stanislaus so much! I love that their are so many activities and that the children have a say in choosing which activities they participate in, too. The counselors work to forge a relationship with each child and my children are always excited to go back and see the friends they have made in years past. I would highly recommend it for your sons and daughters.

This year I sent 5 day campers to Camp Stanislaus: three grandchildren and 2 great niece/nephews. I cannot emphasize the fun they had each day. We chose Camp Stanislaus because of it's rich history and continued addition of fun activities. They loved the camp.....the counselors.....activities and food. Though, I'm the crazy one...They all stayed with me each night!!! It really was a joy listening to all the stories of the day. Camp Stanislaus will always be a good choice; affordable, competent counselors and a camp director whose top priority is your child's safety and fun!!! Don't miss out next year!
