Camp Southern Ground is an inclusive residential (overnight) summer camp on 400 acres in Fayetteville, founded by musician Zac Brown. Week-long sessions serve children ages 7-17, intentionally bringing together typically developing kids, children with neurodevelopmental differences, underserved children, and kids from military families. Programming spans outdoor adventure, arts, and an on-site organic garden; the nonprofit sponsors many military-connected children to attend free.

Camp Southern Ground and its entire staff earn the highest praise for my experience at Warrior Week. It is clear that from the time the place was an idea in the mind of Zac Brown that it was destined to be a place of intention and purpose. Every stone, every blade of grass, every plate, every experience is curated to instill both peace and aspiration. I have rarely witnessed an organization that has collected unto itself such wonderful and amazing people. I am grateful to Team CSG for giving me and my cohort an opportunity to reset and to learn about and focus on our strengths. We were very fortunate to be able to take opportunities (not obligations *wink*) & set meaningful goals as well as create new bonds and tethers to community. Grateful, determined, calm, focused could describe how we left. Thank you for everything Team CSG. BTW, if you got this far, no AI was used in the creation of this review :) This is how I really feel. Drive on team! Thank you again.

For the last three years, my daughter has had an amazing time at Camp Southern Ground. The property is gorgeous; the staff is fantastic; the activities are out of this world. There's so much to do so much to offer. This has been a great experience for her.

My son had a blast and already talking about going back next year when he got home! They were so amazing from the drop off process, to being able to send daily messages (I was told he sent messages back but I never got them) to getting pictures daily! Thank you so much for such a wonderful opportunity and we hope to see you again next year!

My daughter really enjoyed herself at this camp. She even cried when it was time to go because she had so much fun and she met so many people. She conquered fears and she was even taught how to ride a bike here. Highly recommended camp.

I have 7 boys ages 11 to 3. Four of my boys attended camp Southern Ground this past week! Y’all, I’m so incredibly impressed with this camp. EVERYTHING was done in excellence. From the application process, drop off, the “Waldo app” (with face recognition for pics) to the pick up process. This is not just a camp for special needs, although I would feel comfortable sending my son that is. I couldn’t have hand picked better counselors for each of my kids. My children raved about their week and I have heard stories all day. One even learned to ride a bike without training wheels. I’m so thankful my kids had the opportunity to experience this camp. I highly recommend it! I’m the Mom that doesn’t let my kids spend the night off often and I felt comfortable from day one. We watched YouTube videos that told about the camp before attending and it was even more incredible than we imagined. #LoganLand #BoyMom #7Boys
