Powered by GoogleA week at Camp Shalom has been one of my children's favorite summer activities. They have fond memories of cooking breakfasts in Outpost, worship, creek stomping and various traditional camp games. Our family highly recommends this experience!
I just attended a family camp, my first time back since working there in 2011. Camp Shalom is honestly one of the most special places on earth. My 3 and 5 year old children had an amazing time at family camp, and so did my wife and I. The staff, as always, was just fantastic and made sure we had a great time. If you want your children to have an amazing life changing experience, make sure to get them to Camp Shalom for a week of summer camp.
Camp Shalom is the cream of the crop when it comes to summer camps. The staff are all excellent and make sure each and every camper has the best week ever. Friendship, fellowship, and fun are Camp Shalom's focuses. Anyone who brings their children there will understand this after seeing the child's smiling face when coming back home.
Camp Shalom is truly the best place on earth! The joy that it has brought to my life the past 10 years is indescribable. I've met my best friends at camp and have so many great memories with them here. Camp is very special to my family and has been since its start 40 years ago. I would highly recommend for anyone, it's a life changing experience ♡
I did not really know God in my life before coming to Camp Shalom outside of the annual trips to church with my grandmother at Christmas and Easter. When a few friends invited me to a religious summer camp I was apprehensive but it was the best decision I ever made to say yes. My experiences at Camp Shalom changed my life, I grew much much stronger in my faith, but also gained some of the greatest friends in my life that I still talk to daily. There isn't a better experience around for a fun faith filled week than this beauty nestled in the woods of Northeast Iowa.
