Camp Shadow Lake is a Christian day camp on the 60-plus acre Shadow Lake campus of Grace Life Baptist Church in McCalla, near the Jefferson/Tuscaloosa county line, for children who have completed grades K through 6. Weeks are themed, and families can register for single days, individual weeks or the whole summer. The camp is founded on Biblical principles and welcomes children regardless of religious background.

The staff really pours into each child and makes them feel special while giving them the chance to build meaningful relationships and grow as a person. The property is beautiful, and the facilities are top-notch, but It's the people of Camp Shadow Lake that make the difference. If you try out the camp for 1 week, they will be begging you to come back for the whole summer.
