Set on 35 accessible acres beside Eagle Lake near Susanville, it is ACA-accredited and operated by the nonprofit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northern California.

It was as close as it came to living in a real life version of Salute Your Shorts. Campfire songs, cabin competitions, fishing, archery, raiding the kitchen at night - you name it.
