Terrible staff members, cabins are dirty, and unsanitary. Forced to wake up extremely early, and be out for numerous hours on end without going back to the cabins. Not to mention you had 5 minutes to shower, which isn’t even enough time to fully clean yourself. I highly don’t recommend this place.

Camp Pinewood is my favorite place. I cannot wait until my kids are old enough to attend. Both as a camper and a staff member, they were the best summers of my life. I have so many fond memories and have friends that I still talk to today from my camp days.

Camp pinewood was truly my favorite place to go ever summer. I would count down the days every year until it was time to get on that plane and head back to North Caroline. I went to camp pinewood 50 years ago! Three years in a row. I was an only child and this did wonders for me. I lived in Miami Beach my whole life - became a nurse at Mount Sinai Hospital and worked there for 42 years! I remember Ronnie and Jack very well when they were counselors.
