Camp Paradise
Private
Camp Paradise sits on more than 1,300 acres along the Tahquamenon River north of Newberry in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, reachable only by boat, with no wifi and limited cell service. It has been owned and operated by Willow Creek Community Church since 1976, and its summer programming for children is built around ten five-day Dads Camps each summer, where fathers attend alongside a son or daughter ages 7-12. Facilities include archery, a shooting range, a nature center, a ropes and challenge course, beachfront swimming, a fishing area and a game room.

Powered by GoogleMy dad has brought me there three times and he’s been nine times overall with my brothers and me. I was with him and we both left for the last time and cried so hard because of the special place Camp Paradise has in our hearts. So many amazing memories I have made there. The games, the people you meet, the activities, the sermons, songs and most importantly the presence of the Lord create an amazing experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone thinking about going. I still have notes from my dad and the frog nets we used to catch frogs there.
As a young lad, my father would bring us here to enjoy the cherishment of true relationship with one another, with new friendships, and really have the opportunity to truly be alive & free.
Amazing experience for both me and my son! Thanks Tim!
Nothing in world better for father son/daughter bonding. God has truly anointed this place.
The greatest place in the whole world! Going there with my Dad was the best ever! Go here!!!!!
