Camp Onomia is an ELCA Lutheran camp on Lake Shakopee, surrounded by Kathio State Park about 80 miles north of Minneapolis. It offers day camps, overnight youth camps and family camps, plus year-round retreats and conference facilities. Founded in 1949 by an association of Lutheran congregations as the American Lutheran Memorial Camp, it describes itself as a faith-based ministry serving people of every faith, tradition and denomination and welcoming all regardless of race, creed or sexual identity.
