Powered by GoogleJust returned home from 2 weeks at Camp Maranatha. We went with a team serve not for a retreat or vacation. We had the privilege of meeting new friends and working to serve Jesus. 60 were there our second week at the camp. Young people gave their lives to Christ and we were blessed to observe a lake baptism. Thank you to the staff for their dedication to provide this very special camp. Take your group to Camp Maranatha, God is blessing and changing lives......
This place is amazing. The host went out of the way to make sure we had everything we needed. We felt like family when we were there. The food was not like other large group meals , a cut above. The place gave us a piece of joy and relaxing peace Set away from the busy life we had a great time with our family and friends. I’d invite anyone who needs to get away or plan a special get together to choose this place. It is my third time coming here and looking forward to returning in the future. This place has a special place in my heart.
My husband had visited before and spoke so highly of Camp Maranatha that I decided to join him on this trip—and I’m so glad I did. The camp is in a stunning setting right on the lake, peaceful and full of natural beauty. We stayed in the lodge/hotel, which was very comfortable and even had our own bathroom, keurig, microwave and mini fridge! The food was absolutely delicious, and you can tell the staff put so much love and care into every meal and detail of the camp. It’s clear they want every guest to have the best experience possible. This retreat center is perfect for anyone needing to unplug from the busy-ness and distractions of everyday life. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely caring. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
Great campground with great people running it. Beautiful Hourglass Lake is right in front of the campground and the campground has kayaks, canoes, and fishing gear at the ready to be used. We greatly enjoyed our week at this campground.
We came with a church group from central Texas to help build a pier and do some basic cleaning. John, Joey and all of the staff are friendly, kind and humble. Their food is AMAZING. They put so much thought and love into their meals We didn't stay in the cabins but helped clean and few and they are adorable. The lodge where we stayed on property was comfortable, clean and had a great view. There are beautiful FLOWERS & DRAGONFLIES EVERYWHERE.
