Camp Longridge is a Christian overnight camp and retreat center in the pine woods of Ridgeway, about 40 miles north of Columbia, running six weeks of programmed summer camp. Kids Camp is a five-day overnight session for boys and girls ages 8-12, with a separate overnight Teen Camp for older campers. Campers swim and use the lake's blob, zip line, waterslide, and boats, and take part in a challenge course, archery, gaga ball, team competitions, skits, plus daily chapel, worship, and devotions. Campers sleep on bunk beds in air-conditioned cabins with bathrooms and background-checked, trained counselors; the camp accommodates up to 270 guests in summer and campers bring their own bedding.
